Course Description.....

This is a two day course, starting with ground school at 10:00 a.m. (AZ time) on the first day. Ground school covers airspace, cross country flight planning, aircraft systems, engine out procedures, navigation & ATC procedures, etc. followed by 1-2 hours of flight training. The second is 1-2 hours of flight training and a check ride. Training consists of chandelles, lazy eights, eight -on pylons, short and soft field landings, and commercial maneuvers.

Course Includes.....

Instructor and aircraft time are included in the total price. This is a 2 day course. Please bring your own headset.

Pre-Course Requirements.....

Valid FAA Medical

Students must bring a birth certificate or passport.

Commercial written exam test results

20 hours of DUAL training to include....

  • 10 hours of DUAL complex time
  • 1 two hour DUAL, DAY, VFR, 100 Nm (straight line distance) cross country
  • 1 two hour DUAL, NIGHT, VFR, 100 Nm (straight line distance) cross country
  • 10 hours DUAL Instrument
250 hours of total time

100 hours pilot in command

50 hours cross country PIC

10 hours of solo to include....

  • 1 300 Nm cross country with 3 full stop landings, one of which is 250 Nm straight line distance from the point of departure.
  • 5 hours of NIGHT SOLO, and in those five :
    10 take offs and landings at NIGHT SOLO, at an airport with an operating control tower.

Course Description.....

This is a two day course, starting with ground school at 10:00 a.m. (AZ time) on the first day. Ground school covers, commercial maneuvers, engine out procedures, followed by 2-3 hours of flight training. The second day is 2-3 hours of flight training and a check ride. Training consists of steep turns, slow flight, stalls, vmc demo, engine out procedures, landings, and engine out landings. The IFR training also includes normal and engine out instrument approach procedures.

Instructor and aircraft time are included in the total price. This is a 2 day course. Please bring your own headset.

Course Description.....

This is a four day course, starting with ground school at 10:00 a.m. (AZ time) on the first day. Ground school covers airspace, cross country flight planning, aircraft systems, engine out procedures, instrument approach, etc.. The second day is four to five hours of flight training and a check ride. Training consists of chandelles, lazy eights, eight -on pylons, short and soft field landings, and commercial maneuvers. After your check ride you will rest until the next day . Day three starts with ground school at 10:00 a.m. (AZ time). Ground school covers, commercial maneuvers, engine out procedures, IFR covers instrument approach. The fourth day is four to five hours of flight training and a check ride. Training consists of steep turns, slow flight, stalls, vmc demo, engine out procedures, landings, and engine out landings. The IFR training also includes normal and engine out instrument approach procedures.
