Avi Resort and Casino

The Avi Resort and Casino has recently renovated rooms and a riverfront beach. It is a 5 minute drive from our airport and the commute can easily be made by bicycle. Be aware that during the winter the Avi is in a different time zone!

Laughlin Area Hotels

Laughlin Nevada is a bustling riverside town with many entertainment options if you are bringing your family. It is a 30 minute drive from our airport. It is also 1 hour off from us during the winter.

RV / Camping

If you decide to camp during your stay at Sheble’s we have showers and laundry facilities available. We have a refrigerator and microwave but no kitchen.

Seaplane Students

The Lake amphibian is based at Sun Valley airport, since it has wheels. If you are flying the Super Cub on floats, call us to see if we can pick you up on a Casino dock in Laughlin. If you are flying the Beech 18, it is moored at the Pirate Cove in Needles California. Consider staying there, or call us to see if we can meet you at a hotel on Lake Havasu.

Parents with Children

The Avi Resort and Casino and the Riverside Casino both have supervised play areas where you can check your children in for a few hours in order to spend time together.
