All of the following FAA publications are available in printed format from aviation publishers. We sell many of them in our office.
The Federal Aviation Regulations and the Aeronautical Information Manual are usually published as one book. We will help you focus on relevant sections during your stay. FAR parts 61 (how to get a license) and 91 (general flight rules) are of interest to general aviation pilots.
The Pilot's Handbook of Aviation Knowledge includes topics relevant to all pilots.

Advisory Circular 00-6A, Aviation Weather For Pilots and Flight Operations Personnel, is a basic text on all aviation weather. It has a section devoted to glider operations.
